Standardization



ABNT - Brazilian Association of Technical Standards Forum is the only normative in Brazil responsible for developing technical standards for the entire industrial sector of our country.

Among the various bodies that comprise it, each representing a niche in our economy, is the CB-23 - Brazilian Committee on Packaging and Packaging that since its inception in 1982, is hosted by ABRE, which brings together various Committees Studies, each representing a segment of the packaging.

The Study Groups are formed due to a need in the industry to standardize the packaging, raw materials and tests used to ensure their quality.

The Study Commission should be attended by representatives of companies that supply raw materials of manufacturing and of using the package in question, and testing laboratories, and government and consumer protection.

Once prepared the text of the rule by the Study Commission, it will be forwarded to ABNT for National Consultation and with no reproach, sent for approval.
