THE BEST IN PACKAGING DESIGN IS HERE

Packing, in addition of its basic product conditioning, protection and transportation functions, is also the main connection and communication link between the consumer, the product and the trademark, as it is through packing that the consumer getsacquainted, identifies, selects and uses the product.

It is the packing that transmits the product's benefits and differentials, clarifying itsposition, creating identity and specifically strengthening and enriching the company'strademark. It is the packing design that makes the product "unique" and thus, turning the trademark a "unique" trademark too.

In this context, ABRE Packaging Design Committee, founded in 1998, was the resultof a unique and innovating initiative in the country and its most important proposal is tointegrate the several links of its packing productive and end user's chain, from thedesign through the distribution logistics, passing by the machine manufacturers, rawmaterial and accessories, packing converters, printing industry, retail and end users.ABRE Packaging Design Committee has as members the main design offices andagencies of Brazil, consolidating itself as a market referential.

The design offices associated to the Committee adopt a Code of Ethics and ProfessionalConducts as a market stance differential and have under their responsibility theexecution of several strategic and packing design valorization actions among which are:Mostra ABRE de Design de Embalagem (ABRE Design and Packaging Showcase),Guia de Consulta sobre Legislação de Embalagens (Packaging Legislation InstructionGuide), Technical Workshops, Sectorial Surveys, Design Programs for micro, small andmedium size organizations.
