With the purpose of supplying packages for the market of inoculants used in agriculture, ABRE’s member, Embaquim (www.embaquim.com.br), launched a special structure for plastic bags which the main difference is permeability to gases. This kind of product demands a gas change, as the live organisms filled in the bag, need to brief. The structure is also thinner than the traditional and, for this reason, more sustainable because it generates 30% less waste after use. Tests showed that the gas exchange is until 70% more in this package compared to the others in the market. The company invested more than US$ 65 thousand in the development and construction of the mold to inject the special cap of the new bag.
